The Journey to My Purpose

Hi, hello, and welcome! I’m Jess! I’m thrilled that you are here. Ready to come along my blogging journey with me? I truly believe God gifted me with the ability to encourage and help others through my communication skills in both writing and speaking. I strive to positively impact each person that enters my life, and firmly believe in spreading kindness always.

I knew my purpose in life was to help make a difference in peoples’ lives since 2017. I had volunteered at a local middle school at their after school program for an entire college semester. Most of the students came from low-income households. There was this one girl who never wanted to do her homework, never wanted to try, never wanted to put in any effort, and never cared...until I came along. Slowly but surely she became comfortable with me and I would make sure she completed all of her assignments, and quiz her on material if she had an exam the next day. I’m humbled to say it brought tears to my eyes when she showed me her report card the final day that I volunteered. She turned herself around and went from completely failing to getting A's and B's. I was so proud of her and elated to know that I had a small but mighty part in encouraging her to succeed. I knew from that point on, my calling was to help and inspire others in any way I could.

My plan for this blog is to share inspirational thoughts, pieces of advice, and instances that have impacted my life, which will ideally resonate with my audience. I confidently love the person I’ve become, but am also continuously growing and learning every day.

I’m currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Communication with a concentration in New Media and Marketing. I just completed a Personal and Professional Online Branding course, where the instructor consistently complimented my writing style. The encouragement and praise she provided, validated that I have a knack for writing, and shouldn’t let it go to waste!

About Me:

My full name is Jessica Leticia Puchacz and I’m a 25-year-old from New Hampshire! I currently have a full-time job, a part-time job, and am taking classes for my Master’s degree, on top of balancing a social life. As you can imagine, my schedule is hectic, but I wouldn’t trade it for the world! I have a zest for life and strong drive to achieve all of my dreams.

My family and friends are my absolute world. I pour 100% of myself into all relationships in my life because without my tribe, I wouldn’t be where I am today!

I’m so blessed to have grown up in a cultured household. My mom was born in Uruguay in South America. My dad was born in New Hampshire, but his family descended from Eastern Europe. My younger brother and I are fortunate to have grown up speaking two languages, thus resulting in being bilingual in Spanish and English.

I have the travel bug, and take any opportunity I can to travel with my family and friends, both domestically and internationally. The current pandemic has put a temporary halt to my traveling adventures, but I can’t wait for the day where I can start exploring the world again!
