Put Your Motivation into Drive! 324 Movement Month (Week 3)

Hello and welcome to Week 3 of 324 Movement Month!

How did everyone’s goal continuation and committing to improving their overall well-beings go in week 2 last week? Were you able to adjust any strategies that may not have worked for you in the first week? For us at 324, we did a much better job sticking to our goals.

Collectively, we all ate healthy, went to the gym, and did some yoga throughout the week. My friend Raine encouraged me to try nettle leaf tea, which was my new healthy purchase for the week. It is known for supporting overall wellness, which is perfect! Forewarning: It has an earthy and grassy flavor, so be sure to add a drizzle of honey if you wish.

Abby, Carol, Sven, and I kicked off week 3 with a gym session today, and drank some yummy smoothies for a post-workout fuel-up. Abby and I were chatting at the pool today about what we want to focus on this week, since we have been eating pretty healthy and incorporating physical movement down packed. We want to really power through drinking a ton of water and incorporate intentional daily meditation, praying, and journaling into our days. This will help us improve our mental wellness in the peaceful downtime we have when we wake up for the day or get ready for bed. I have stayed on my reading train and started reading Verity by Colleen Hoover. I hope to finish it this week!

I wrapped up week 2 by driving from the east coast of Florida to the west coast of Florida to visit my best friend Michelle, who was visiting family in Naples, FL. Pictured below is Michelle and I. I got to play Top Golf for the first time, and ended up in second place by pure luck during one of the games. I have never played legitimate golf before, unless mini golf or participating in a golf tournament for the Puritan Backroom and being in charge of driving the golf cart, and occasionally swinging the golf club counts? LOL. I did a happy dance every time I made contact with the ball, and even surprised myself hitting the ball far and hitting respective targets for points. I explored downtown Old Naples, which had a coastal European feel, had a delicious breakfast at Jane’s Café on Third (you must go there if you are in the area), had a scrumptious pumpkin coffee at Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii, walked along the beach, and walked almost 4 miles around downtown in the blazing summer heat. It was a wonderful getaway among the best company!

I am wishing you all an incredible week 3 of 324 Movement Month, and I just know you are going to continue to crush it this week! You are stronger than your excuses! Two weeks down, and two weeks to go!
