I Just LOVE Love

This past weekend I was granted the honor of doing my friend Jill’s bridal makeup, accompanied by my friend Kaiti, and attend her and her fiancé, (now husband), Eric’s wedding. I have known Eric and Jill for as long as I can remember, as they started out as my coworkers at the Puritan Backroom, but quickly turned into such incredible friends of mine. I think back to my 21st birthday – the night where we all started to see sparks fly between the two of them.

From helping Jill get ready for her special day, to witnessing Jill and Eric say “I do,” to being present for each beautiful and heartfelt speech and dance shared that evening, to sending the newlyweds off on their honeymoon with a sparkler send-off, you could just feel the love in the air.

I simply LOVE love! I can find pure joy from watching a relationship unfold in a romantic Hallmark movie or during an actual wedding. The sentimental vows, toasts, and dances this past weekend brought chills down my spine and tears in my eyes. When you look around the room, you realize that you all individually share a special relationship with the bride and/or groom, and have shaped and impacted their love story in one way or another. The outpouring love for celebrating the couple’s love shined so intensely on August 7th, 2021.

Who is in your close circle? Make sure those who you surround yourself with are there to fully support you, love you, and celebrate your wins with you! Loving someone unconditionally and marrying them is a decision you wake up and vow to pursue every day. I cannot wait for the day I find my forever love.

1 Corinthians 13:4-7 says, “Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things.”

Love is magical, but requires equal and lasting effort. Love brings out pure bliss and happiness. Choose to love each and every person around you because there is no better feeling. When you find those worth loving forever, be sure to love hard. For true love is so powerful.
