Grouper Gals
Last Friday, my manager asked me if I had anything planned for the weekend, in which I replied that I had nothing set in stone. I ended up having such a fun weekend, with spontaneous plans, and memories that will last forever.
Saturday was spent at the Norton Museum of Art where Abby, Carol, Hannah, and I wandered around for hours exploring the numerous floors and hallways of each art exhibit. We were admiring and reading all about art that dated back to BC times. Even the oldest art in its purest form was breathtaking, and interesting to see how each style and craft evolved over the centuries. Collectively, our favorite exhibit was the display of children’s artwork. All of the pieces were so creative, and it left us feeling inspired, and ready to plan an art night.

We grabbed a quick snack at Hive Bakery & Café, and I already cannot wait to go back. The aesthetic was exquisite and the bakery items tasted divine. Be sure to try their bacon, chive, and cheddar scone if you are in the area!
We wrapped up our day by heading to Jupiter Inlet and grabbed some dinner and drinks at Square Grouper Tiki Bar. Seats were overlooking the water where we spotted a sea turtle not too far from shore. The blazing Florida summer heat, with a piña colada in hand, while listening to live music, and chatting with my gal pals was a Saturday well spent. As we were leaving, there was a wedding party heading down towards the waterfront for a photo shoot. We were on a road called Love Street, which was so fitting!
Sunday’s activities kicked off with a phone call from Carol’s brother Sven inviting us all on a boat ride where we anchored down along a sandbar in Boca Raton. We were surrounded by boats and yachts of all sizes enjoying the glorious sunshine and golden hour as the sun set. The warm rays of sun, cool breeze, and splashing waves made for an excellent wrap up to the weekend among amazing company.
Your day can start out with nothing in motion, and be filled with plans in the blink of an eye. I would have had just as much fun chilling poolside all weekend, but nothing beats creating memories and sharing brand new experiences with those you enjoy doing life with! I hope you spend this week making the most of your summer days with those who make you the happiest!
