Eggcellent Easter

For those who celebrate, I hope you had a lovely Easter! Fun fact: Easter is my favorite holiday!

As much as holidays are an opportunity for getting together with your loved ones, it is important to never brush over the true meaning of Easter.

"He is not here, for He has risen, as He said. Come, see the place where He lay." – Matthew 28:6

I cannot put into words how incredible the miracle is of Jesus resurrecting and leaving his tomb is!

How did you spend your Easter? I almost had to work, but luckily I switched shifts. It was my first Easter away from my family in New Hampshire. I would always work at the Puritan Backroom and then head to Easter dinner after my shift was over to enjoy one of my favorite meals: a ham dinner!

This year was of course different, but I am so lucky to have been able to celebrate it with my Florida family, who were so kind to welcome me into their tradition. We went over Carol's family's house and ate a delectable surf and turf meal. I also baked the cutest Easter cupcakes, which were a hit for dessert! Pictured below are Abby, Carol, and I on Easter Sunday. Breaking away from old traditions and creating new memories makes life eggciting! Stepping away from your comfort zone allows you to open yourself up to new experiences, which is unbelievably worth it!

As we hop into Spring, may you breathe in the fresh air, spot the sights of seasonal life starting to bud around you, and make it an eggcellent season!

Remember to stay humble and kind, always!
