324 Movement Month (Week 1)

Hello and welcome to 324 Movement Month!


Abby, Carol, and I live in apartment # 324, so we specialized the title, but I would absolutely love if you joined in on this journey in your own way. We could have waited until September 1st to kick things off, but there is no time like the present! As best friends and roommates, Abby, Carol, and I came up with the idea to establish a 30-day group initiative to improve our physical, nutritional, and mental health in a variety of ways.


10 goals that we are determined to reach each week:


-Physical movement for a minimum of 30 minutes per day and 5 days per week

· We have already brainstormed so many creative ways to move our bodies to keep it interesting, and not just a mundane routine of hopping on a treadmill

· Day 1 of movement today resulted in an after work 35 minute walk on the beach, and the shoreline is pictured below

- Listening to a daily guided meditation

-Find a new inspirational podcast for each of us to listen to this month

-Strive to eat healthy and clean ingredients

-Incorporate and try a new healthy food each week

-Limit ourselves to 2 fun treats/desserts per week (We do have a Crumbl Cookies across the street from us- LOL)

-Limit takeout/restaurant food to once per week

-No screen time past 10pm (exception: weekends and homework because I started a new class today)

-Weekly collective reading hour

-Track our daily water intake

Accountability buddies and support systems are incredibly important for sticking to your goals, and we are so thrilled to see how we feel physically and mentally in 30 days.
