Today, 2/22/22, marks 1 year since launching my blog. Happy Blogiversary to me! I am in such awe of the growth that blogging weekly for an entire year has provided. This is such an incredible milestone to recognize because I did not know what to expect when I announced I would be sharing my writing for the world to see.

I was initially nervous and unsure if I would stay consistent with releasing blog posts weekly, if I would run out of ideas to write about, or if I would be judged for my writing. All of those doubts and fears have since diminished. I have proved to myself that when you put your mind to something, nothing will hold you back. Think back to a time where you were hesitant about sticking to something. If you consistently followed through with your goals, such as a New Year’s resolution, imagine just how empowered you would feel if you stuck with it for a whole year. Small steps lead to impactful growth, change, and transformation!

I am blessed beyond belief with how much encouragement and support I have received over the past year. I am truly blown away by everyone’s outpour of thoughtful messages or chatting with me about it in person. Most importantly, I am grateful for those who take the time to read my weekly posts because the community that has been built is so incredible!

I will continue to write whether one person or 1,000 people read my work. It is a creative outlet for me, and I am confident that whoever stumbles upon or chooses to read any given post is meant to. Writing has been a passion of mine for years and I suppressed it thinking I was only meant to excel in writing papers for school. Shifting into sharing personal insight into my life, pieces of advice, words of encouragement, positivity and inspiration, has allowed me to expand upon my writing skills. My hope is that through my experiences and thoughts, I can impact my readers in a positive light.

I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to conquer the world. Instead, I want to empower and inspire the world. I know that I am just getting started, and have so much room to grow and continue to unlock my fullest potential. I look back on this year of blog posts and each one of them means so much to me. I have covered topics ranging from light-hearted to serious, and they have all stemmed from my heart. Which of my blog posts have resonated with you the most?

I am ready to embark on my second year of blogging, and I am beyond excited to look back a year from now and reflect the same way I am doing today. I am humbled and filled with joy to have you all supporting me in my writing as well as in life.
